We’ve heard of games turning kids into murderous psychopaths, but we may be hearing of the first game giving a woman a sexual disorder. The U.K.’s Daily Star reports that Amanda Flowers has developed persistent sexual arousal syndrome since she damaged a nerve from falling off her Wii Fit board. “It began as a twinge down below before surging through my body,” she said. “Sometimes it built up into a trembling orgasm.” Now slight vibrations from cell phones or other devices reportedly have very pronounced effects on her libido. This is definitely odd news, but it should be taken with a grain of salt — or a bucket. Persistent sexual arousal syndrome (a distinct medical disorder, different from sexual addiction) is a little-known but serious problem.
