To say that Tony Hawk Ride is getting poor reviews would be an understatement . But Hawk himself doesn’t feel the game was given a fair shake, and took aim at its critics in a recent interview with The Sudbury Star. “They were ready to discredit it before they even tried it, and if it didn’t play exactly how they imagined it… then they passed it off,” he said. “I don’t agree with people who say the board’s not responsive. I think they’re just not giving it a fair shake. I think a lot of them came into it with an attitude that it’s going to suck.” Hawk also points out that he had a personal hand in making the game. “I know that (RIDE) is super fun, and I think there’s a misconception that I just stick my name on a game. I'm fairly sure I never used to be like this. I used to stifle laughs and shake my head, saying 'That's so bad' or 'That's well out-of-order' and take the moral high ground. I used to care about people I'd never met and feel sorry for them when hilariously painful accidents befell them.....

Is it me or did I spy an unfavorable story about John McCain. Say it aint so, if they're puttin' a little 'fair and balanced' back into the equation I might have to actually give them a fair shake... Okay who am I kidding, but it's a start, lets see if this is a really change, or just a trojan horse.
