Well... I said that was not enough Mario yet, so it is time for Super Mario Brothers Lost Levels (also known as the REAL Super Mario Brothers 2 from Japan)! There is just one little thing, though... this time I am going to play as Luigi! Why? Simple! I always liked Luigi over Mario anyways... especially once voices got involved. For this playthrough I will simply be doing 2 worlds per video as they tended to split up nicely that way. The game itself is much more difficult than the original Super Mario Brothers, so I will not be speed-running this game, but rather, aiming for as few hits as possible. The first couple of worlds are actually kind of tricky... the game designers wanted you to know that this was meant to be for people who beat the first game. The gameplay is basically exactly the same, same physics and so forth. Luigi has his own unique physics, though. He jumps a bit higher and slides about twice as far when trying to stop from running. This can be a real problem in some places, whereas his jumping helps a lot in other places. One way or another, though, it is time to get this thing started! Enjoy!~

During the summer of 1977 The Runaways took the unsuspecting nation of Japan by storm becoming the fourth most popular imported musical act behind Led Zeppelin and The Beatles. Unfortunately most of the available video footage from their two month tour is of fifth or sixth generation bootleg quality. While not particularly Hi-Definition I think this video is still a bit higher quality than most of the footage that can be found on Youtube at this time. With Cherie Currie on vocals, the dueling guitars of Joan Jett and Lita Ford, Jackie Fox on base and the legendary Sandy West powering the beat the caliber of this band live was phenomenal.
