EA Sports has nearly confirmed rumors of an NBA Jam revival, by almost making the exact the move stated in the original report. Almost . A new EA Q&A with NBA Jam creator Mark Turmell reveals he’s been brought on as the Senior Creative Director at EA Tiburon. When the questions turn to Turmell’s focus at the studio, he mentions tweaking the gameplay for the Madden and NCAA series, but nothing about the classic basketball series. This doesn’t really mean that he won’t work on NBA Jam, however. EA now has Turmell on the payroll, and the original report only stated he would be consulting on the project. He can certainly do that individually while putting the main studio’s focus on the football franchises
